Key findings:

  • On 27 January 2024 a group of over 265 charities, civil society groups, and law offices wrote to Peers demanding that they vote down the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill at its Second Reading. It can now be revealed by the Centre for Migration Control that almost half of the groups who have signed this letter are in receipt of public funds, either through grants or government contracts.
  • Analysis reveals that in just three years these organisations have received over £200m in public funds.
